On December 10th 2016, it was announced that Vtech lost access to their database of customer information which included personal records and payment card details on a number of its brands including the popular Barbie line of phones by a hacker known as “The Impact Team” or ” delete boys “.
Between November 14 and 17, the hacker group released over 2.2 million records belonging to Vtech customers and members of its InnoTab forum, a majority of which contained names and address information, password security questions and answers, software download information, IP addresses and email addresses.
Vtech’s customers were left in a state of shock following the hacking incident that took place in November when it was announced that their personal data including names, physical address, email addresses and passwords were leaked online.

6) If you are getting other options like ‘SIMcard’ or ‘Call (Here)’ and tapping on it, than your sim card might not be properly installed.
Tap on the simcard icon and select the option(if any).Try to do same thing again..but this time tap on button which is available where you see ‘SIMcard’ tag. If you are not having this option, then proceed further.
7) Go to home screen and tap on App icon(do not tap on Whats app itself…just tap on App icon).
8) Then tap on Settings…
9)Go to ‘Security’ section and tap on ‘Forget’ button
Now try to send a message through Whats App, if it still not working.
