KitchenAid Artisan Mixer Review – The Ultimate Cook’s Choice

KitchenAid is a well-known brand and their products are household essentials. I found this review from one of their Artisan Mixers so interesting that I wanted to share it with others.

When you’re searching for a new kitchen appliance or even just looking for something to upgrade, they have some really cool choices. The reviews are really in depth, and they do not skimp on the information you need in order to make an informed decision.

This article is about KitchenAid Artisan Mixers, so it will be based on my experience with the Artisan Pro and Classic. I did not get to taste the bread machine part of this review, but I will make sure to mention that in my review of the bread maker.

I have tried a lot of different machines including the famous KitchenAid Stand Mixer. So, if you are looking for something different, give this one a try. You can start with one appliance and upgrade your knowledge on home cooking as you progress through time.

Too Many Options?

I love the fact that there are so many options when it comes to appliances and technology. However, there is too much choice, which can be confusing as you start out on your search.

These Artisan Mixers are not “just” a regular mixer or food processor, they include several different parts. I did get to see the bread machine part of this review, but I would have preferred to see more of the attachments and maybe even some of the other accessories.

I do not have any experience with the KitchenAid Artisan Mixers, but I wish to share some of the information I gathered during my research.

Which is better, Artisan or Power Mixer?

If you were thinking of asking me this question, then you are interested in understanding how these two sets of machines differ from each other. You will see that they have some similarities and some differences as well, which is what I would like to share with you right now in this review.

The Power Mixer has more speeds (13) than the Artisan (8). The power mixer comes with different attachments and accessories. It also has a bigger, heavier and taller design. Both of these mixers have a 10 year limited warranty.

What are the differences between the 3 KitchenAid Artisan Mixers?

This review is broken down into two parts: Artisan Pro , which is basically a stand mixer in disguise with some interesting add ons and accessories, and  Artisan Mini, which includes some great handheld options that work well as an all-in-one mixing machine with other attachments included to use in your kitchen or while you’re out camping.

For this review, I’ll be comparing the two different types of Artisan mixers, which are ‘Pro’ and ‘Classic’. Both of these mixers are stand mixers. The Pro is a high-end machine that provides a lot of added accessories to give you more options in how you use it and also some cool applications to create breads.

I have had experience with the classic mixer (which is not included in this review). If you have any questions about the Classic, please send me an e-mail and I will be happy to help you out with them.

What Is The Difference Between The Artisan Pro And The Artisan Mini?

This is one of the most interesting parts of this review, which I had to research a lot. Hopefully, my research helped you understand what these two mixers can do for you.

The Artisan Mini mixer is the smaller version that is great for smaller tasks or for personal use if you own a small kitchen. The bigger version includes features like the larger bowl and chute and a different color paint job.

The Classic has some interesting and cool changes to it as well, but I found both very useful machines and perfect options to start out with in your home. While both of them have their uses and can be used by most any home cook, they are designed with a different purpose in mind based on your own needs.

For this review, I have taken note of the things that make them different, so you can make an informed decision.

What If I Am A Baker? Will The Mini Be Good For Me?

The mini is a smaller machine that is great to use in small spaces or if you want something to take with you but not cluttering up your countertops. There are a lot of times where a bread machine just won’t work because of space constraints or people who are on the go. You can find several options that are compact such as this one and that will fit right into your luggage or even on your kitchen countertop if needed.

What If I Have More Than One KitchenAid Artisan Mixer?

Yes! If you have more than one, then your options are endless. You can use them together like a brick and mortar bakery or you can use them as individual mixers in your own home.

This is why they are so useful because they work well as an all-in-one machine with a lot of features that you can choose to make whatever it is you want to make. These machines do the work for you. Your job is to watch what goes into the bowl and then add the ingredients according to the instructions on how much and how long it should be mixed for that particular task at hand.

Final Thoughts:

I really enjoyed my time researching these KitchenAid Artisan mixers and learning more about them. My non-cook experience with them is limited, but I can tell you they will be getting a lot of use in my kitchen. I have an affinity for mixing and baking, so having these machines available to me was a big plus for me.

I hope that this review has helped you make a decision on which one to go with.
